Terms of Service

Effective September 21, 2026

These terms govern your use of Courseway, operated by Grayworth, Inc. Use Courseway only if you can legally accept these terms. If you disagree, do not use the service. Courseway currently provides an authorized private workspace; a Google account alone does not create access.

Your account and materials

Protect your credentials and use only accounts and source materials you are authorized to access. You retain your rights in uploaded materials and grant Grayworth permission to process them as needed to provide the features you request. Do not upload or distribute content in violation of others' rights.

Academic tools and integrations

Courseway helps organize work and practice; it is not an official school record. Confirm deadlines, grades, attendance, answer delivery, and exam requirements with the relevant provider. Imported data and AI-generated content may be incomplete or incorrect. Follow your institution's academic-integrity rules and each connected service's terms. Courseway is not endorsed by your school, Google, Canvas, or iClicker.

Acceptable use

Do not impersonate others, evade access controls, introduce malicious code, interfere with the service, or use Courseway unlawfully. Grayworth may restrict access when necessary to address abuse, protect systems, or comply with law.

Availability and responsibility

Features and integrations may change or become unavailable. Keep copies of important materials. Optional AI usage may incur charges from your own provider. To the extent allowed by law, Courseway is supplied as available without warranties, and Grayworth is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses. These terms do not exclude rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

Ownership and general terms

Courseway's software and branding belong to Grayworth or its licensors. Separate written agreements or software licenses control where applicable. California law governs these terms, subject to mandatory applicable law. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Material updates will be identified here or otherwise communicated as required.
